Peeling Heart

In life a man's heart will go through many changes: some of those changes we will understand and others we won't. Every heart is unique and has its own story. From birth 'til death the heart will be shaped by the circumstances of our lives. My heart has been calloused by the world around me, covered by layers and layers of pain, hurt, love, and disappointments. I walked around wearing different masks that I use to keep what's inside of me hidden because I didn't understand its worth.
